As a Front Desk Officer in a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting staff and visitors, managing access control and visitor logs, and watching cameras and alarms for security-related concerns. You will communicate clearly, document incidents, and help maintain a welcoming environment through customer service and professionalism. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Staff the front desk reception area, greet and direct visitors, and help manage lobby flow in accordance with site access requirements.
  • Monitor access points and maintain visitor logs and/or badge issuance processes, verifying identification and authorization as required by site policy.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns, and complete accurate documentation and shift reports per Allied Universal guidelines.
