About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Visitor Registration in Carmel, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, processing guest check-ins, issuing visitor credentials, and documenting arrivals and departures in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Answer phones, greet incoming guests, and support front desk operations by providing directions, handling routine inquiries, and communicating security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and front desk records to help support daily operations, incident documentation, and communication with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
