As a Security Officer Driver Verification in Gluckstadt, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will help monitor entry points, screen people and property, and support security-related operations at the location. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols as needed, and deliver strong customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post instructions and site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.
  • Perform screening-related duties such as monitoring entry points, checking authorized access, and reporting suspicious activity in accordance with with site procedures.
