As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver PT in Spring, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and calls for service. You will document observations, support access control, and provide professional customer service and communication to site personnel and visitors. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, process areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing at an industrial location to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in, and documenting deliveries and contractor activity per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrol observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
