About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Specialist in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, verify authorized access when required, and report concerns involving security-related conditions or policy violations.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations, directing foot traffic, and documenting security-related incidents in a timely manner.
