As a Part Time Driver Patrol Security Officer in Niagara Falls, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using the Claim a Shift platform. You will join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where responsibilities include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, completing routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, and maintaining visibility to deter incidents. This driving post provides an opportunity to support security-related operations, deliver strong customer service, and communicate with integrity as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and/or vehicles in accordance with site protocols.
  • Support day-to-day operations by communicating clearly with site personnel, following posted instructions, and completing assigned reports related to incidents, patrol activity, and other security-related matters.
