About The Position

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor direction and screening processes in accordance with location protocols and healthcare-related procedures.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with staff and guests, assisting with de-escalation when needed, and following post instructions for routine and/or urgent situations.
