About The Position
As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Coverage in Reynoldsburg, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through proper site communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including storefronts, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor for unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or conditions that could impact daily operations, and document security-related concerns in a clear and timely manner.
- Support access control and closing procedures as assigned, and assist with directions, lost and found inquiries, and other customer service needs at the location.
