Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Proof of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, calls for service, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and relaying updates to appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, and/or other communication systems to coordinate dispatch activity, prioritize requests, and support timely security-related responses across the location.
  • Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, helping to support situational awareness and continuity of operations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as needed by site procedures, noting unusual activity and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
