About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Armed Patrol in Butner, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card/license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and the public by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorization for entry, and support movement control procedures for personnel, visitors, and vehicles as directed by site protocol.
Assist with emergency and unusual situation response, including coordination with site leadership and public sector personnel, while maintaining professionalism and following post orders and applicable procedures.
