As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with service-focused assistance while documenting activity using site systems. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.46 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to hospital staff, patients, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility alarms, disturbances, and/or requests for assistance from clinical areas.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare buildings, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing traffic flow, checking credentials when required, and directing visitors to proper check-in locations.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions using site-required reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
