As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong presence. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone you encounter. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify any unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with clients, visitors, and staff while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
- Follow all site-specific protocols and procedures relevant to financial institution environments, including confidentiality and privacy requirements.
- Assist with emergency response activities and coordinate with local authorities as needed.
