Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology, media, or telecommunications location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas for suspicious behavior, assist with badge and visitor verification processes, and help to support established site rules and daily operations.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, employees, and emergency personnel when needed, providing timely information and/or assistance during routine activities and incident response.
