About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol with Active Clearance in Gilbert, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control points and communicate clearly with employees and visitors while documenting activity and responding to situations with professionalism. Requirements

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, work areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor alarms, gates, and/or key control points; document security-related observations and notify appropriate contacts when conditions require escalation.
• Complete detailed patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, using Allied Universal communication protocols and client-directed procedures.
