Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and support posted access control processes for staff, deliveries, and vendors.
- Assist with enforcing location rules related to restricted areas, after-hours activity, and property protection while maintaining detailed logs, reports, and other required records.
