Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
Possess an active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
CPR Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at an aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor entry points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and support screening and inspection procedures for people, vehicles, and materials entering or leaving the location.
Support security-related operations by maintaining detailed logs, completing incident reports, and following post orders, use of force guidelines, and equipment handling procedures.
