As a Security Officer - Distribution Site - Full Time in Hopewell Junction, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and regular patrols contribute to a positive atmosphere, while your strong customer service skills and clear communication support everyone on site. You will interact with visitors and staff, assist with access control, and use technology to support your daily responsibilities. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Availability across various days and shifts

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the logistics and distribution environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
Monitor access points and observe activities to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
Communicate clearly with team members, site personnel, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents, observations, and/or security-related concerns.
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly as part of daily security-related duties.
