As a Security Officer - Distribution Site Patrol in Clayton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a visible presence. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or irregularities discovered during patrols, maintaining detailed records as required by Allied Universal.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and ensuring only authorized personnel are permitted in restricted areas.
Support the enforcement of site rules and regulations, working closely with client representatives and Allied Universal management as needed.
Participate in emergency drills and/or response activities to help maintain preparedness for a variety of situations relevant to a logistics and distribution environment.
