As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately during emergencies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal and/or site management as required.
Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and monitor entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to support a positive atmosphere at the location.
Complete required documentation and reports related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities.
