About The Position

As a Security Officer - Distribution Entry Control in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entry points and patrol assigned areas within a logistics and distribution location. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry to the logistics and distribution location.
Verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the site, following established Allied Universal procedures and site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, contractors, and employees with access-related inquiries and directions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and report any unusual conditions.
Document and report all access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client site policies.
Collaborate with site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents or drills.
Maintain a visible presence at access control points to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment.
