As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances, check credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
  • Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, drivers, and employees with security-related inquiries and directions.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe for any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific emergency response procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by the site and Allied Universal.
  • Communicate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors regarding security-related matters and report any concerns promptly.
  • Support the implementation of site-specific procedures related to access control, visitor management, and security-related protocols.
