As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances, check credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, drivers, and employees with security-related inquiries and directions.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe for any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific emergency response procedures.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by the site and Allied Universal.
Communicate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors regarding security-related matters and report any concerns promptly.
Support the implementation of site-specific procedures related to access control, visitor management, and security-related protocols.
