As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence throughout assigned areas. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures at the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and managing entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.
Monitor security-related systems, such as surveillance cameras and alarm panels, and take appropriate action as needed.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site policies and Allied Universal procedures.
Collaborate with site staff and law enforcement when necessary to address security-related concerns.
