As a Front Desk Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and assisting with access control while helping to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
A current guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate to management or emergency services.
Maintain accurate records of visitor and contractor check-ins, badge issuance, and other front desk activities.
Communicate professionally and courteously with all individuals at the location, providing assistance and information as needed.
Support emergency response activities in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and location-specific protocols.
Assist with the implementation and enforcement of security-related protocols and procedures as directed by site management.
