Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- X‐Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report any irregularities or incidents encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas within the logistics and distribution environment.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrol activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and/or client policies.
- Support emergency response activities and follow established procedures for fire alarms, medical emergencies, and other urgent situations at the location.
