Security Officer Distribution Center
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Distribution Center in Enid, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, support access procedures, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing and distribution location.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions per site requirements.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of production areas, offices, dock areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing deliveries and/or contractors to the appropriate locations per site policy.
- Complete routine security-related reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate pertinent information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
