About The Position

As a Security Officer - ID Badge Validation in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, supporting access control and security-related operations. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor and vendor check-ins, and communicate clearly with teams on site. You will complete routine patrols and documented checks to help reduce incidents while delivering customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Staff the access control point by checking identification, verifying appointments and/or delivery documentation, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining entry and exit logs for people and vehicles.
• Monitor inbound and outbound truck traffic at gates and dock areas by confirming trailer numbers, seal integrity, and routing instructions, and communicating discrepancies to site leadership per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, access disputes, and/or medical emergencies, and document actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of key operational areas such as gates, yard perimeters, warehouse entrances, and parking areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
