As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support store teams and shoppers with professional customer service. Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, team members, and shoppers by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter, with working conditions varying by assignment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disorderly conduct, medical situations, fire alarms, and/or property damage.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and policy violations and help to deter theft and/or disruptive behavior through visible presence, observation, and timely communication with site management and/or law enforcement as needed.
• Complete incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
