Job Description As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol in Plainfield, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic tech-focused location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help protect people and property.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting findings as needed.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and helping to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
Document all activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Support the implementation of security-related protocols and procedures specific to a technology and/or media-focused environment.
Collaborate with on-site personnel and emergency responders as needed to address situations or incidents.
