Job Description As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol in Plainfield, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic tech-focused location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help protect people and property.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting findings as needed.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and helping to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
  • Document all activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
  • Support the implementation of security-related protocols and procedures specific to a technology and/or media-focused environment.
  • Collaborate with on-site personnel and emergency responders as needed to address situations or incidents.
