About The Position

As a Security Officer in Roanoke, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the interior and perimeter of the facility.
Observe for and report any irregularities, such as suspicious activities or hazards, to help to deter unwanted incidents.
Complete detailed and accurate reports related to patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
Assist with access control by monitoring points of entry and verifying credentials as needed.
Collaborate with site personnel and other Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment for all individuals on site.
