As a Security Officer - Distribution Center Patrol - Full Time in Whitestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations.
Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution facility, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Document and report any unusual or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and/or visitors to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
Maintain detailed records of access control activities and any incidents that occur during the shift.
