About The Position

As a Security Officer - Distribution Entry Monitor in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence and attention to detail will help to deter security-related incidents while you interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Conduct screening of individuals and/or vehicles entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors and staff while maintaining a professional presence.
Carry out security-related procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the site, including monitoring entry and exit points.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items from entering the location by remaining attentive and observant.
Document and report any irregularities or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
