As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support the secure flow of people and assets within a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor entry and exit points, and provide outstanding customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel with access procedures and general inquiries.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and observe for unusual activity.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or violations to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and client representatives.
Support emergency response activities as required by site-specific procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
