About The Position

As a Security Officer - Distribution Badge Verification in Earth City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to provide a welcoming presence while supporting a secure environment. With a focus on teamwork, reliability, and outstanding customer service, you will play a key role in maintaining a positive and professional atmosphere for all visitors and staff.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures to maintain order and protect property within a logistics and distribution environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Carry out security-related procedures as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
  • Monitor surveillance equipment and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
  • Assist with emergency response activities according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
