About The Position

As a Security Officer - Distribution Badge Verification in Earth City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to provide a welcoming presence while supporting a secure environment. With a focus on teamwork, reliability, and outstanding customer service, you will play a key role in maintaining a positive and professional atmosphere for all visitors and staff.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures to maintain order and protect property within a logistics and distribution environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating issues as appropriate.
Carry out security-related procedures as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
Monitor surveillance equipment and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
Assist with emergency response activities according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
