As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible throughout the facility. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, people-first culture built on teamwork, reliability, and integrity. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution facility, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location.
Assist with visitor and contractor management, maintaining logs and following site-specific procedures.
Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting employees, visitors, and delivery personnel as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues observed during patrols or while monitoring access points.
Work collaboratively with site staff and Allied Universal management to maintain security-related procedures and address any concerns that arise within the logistics and distribution environment.
