Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response communications.
- Receive, prioritize, and relay routine and urgent calls for service, alarms, and incident reports in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Monitor communication systems, cameras, and/or other site reporting tools to support security-related awareness and help to deter unauthorized activity at the location.
- Coordinate with on-site personnel, supervisors, and/or first responders regarding incidents, access concerns, medical situations, and other critical events within a healthcare location.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, activity records, and incident documentation, and support regular and random patrol coordination around the business and perimeter as needed.
