Job Description As a Security Officer Dispatch in Texas City, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor systems, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related incidents. This role combines strong customer service, attention to detail, and technology use while helping to maintain an orderly environment. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor radios, telephones, alarm activity, cameras, and/or other dispatch systems, and communicate timely updates to site personnel and responding teams.
  • Receive, document, and relay calls for service, incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical information in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Coordinate the movement of security-related personnel, emergency responders, and/or authorized vehicles in accordance with site protocols and location needs.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and/or activity reports to help support site operations, communication, and follow-up actions.
