About The Position

As a Security Officer - Dispatch with Active Clearance in King Of Prussia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will also provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting access control and responding to incidents. Requirements

Active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR Certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage access control systems, including logging incoming and outgoing personnel and vehicles at the location.
Operate communication equipment to receive and relay information regarding incidents, emergencies, and/or operational updates.
Coordinate response efforts with Allied Universal personnel and local authorities as appropriate during incidents and/or emergencies.
Maintain detailed records and logs of dispatch activities, incident reports, and relevant communications.
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific policies and procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to deter potential security-related threats at the location.
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site personnel, and Allied Universal management regarding ongoing situations and/or requests.
