This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will support a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, people-first, and grounded in integrity.
Requirements
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Control access to facilities through visitor processing, badging verification, and delivery screening in accordance with site requirements and security-related protocols.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, and report unusual activity that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions to operations.
