As a Security Officer - Dispatch with Active Clearance in King Of Prussia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will also provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting access control and responding to incidents. What You'll Do: Monitor and manage access control systems, including logging incoming and outgoing personnel and vehicles at the location. Operate communication equipment to receive and relay information regarding incidents, emergencies, and/or operational updates. Coordinate response efforts with Allied Universal personnel and local authorities as appropriate during incidents and/or emergencies. Maintain detailed records and logs of dispatch activities, incident reports, and relevant communications. Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific policies and procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to deter potential security-related threats at the location. Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site personnel, and Allied Universal management regarding ongoing situations and/or requests.

Requirements

  • Active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
