As a Dispatch Officer within a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your duties. Requirements

  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch personnel and relay information as needed throughout the location.
  • Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations, maintaining a calm and problem-solving approach.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the location.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with inquiries and access control processes.
  • Document and report all incidents, activities, and irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal and location standards.
  • Communicate with on-site personnel and emergency responders to coordinate response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or access.
