About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Specialist in Milpitas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer supporting a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. In this role, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, document incidents, and help guide timely responses to security-related concerns. You will remain a visible and dependable point of contact while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor phones, radios, alarms, and camera systems from the dispatch post, receive reports of routine and urgent issues, and coordinate the appropriate security-related response.
Document incidents, calls for service, visitor activity, delivery-related concerns, and shift updates in dispatch logs and related reporting systems with clear and timely communication.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying information to site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter when assigned, while helping to deter unauthorized activity and reporting unusual conditions observed in warehouse, shipping, receiving, and yard areas.
