As a Security Officer - Government Dispatch Specialist in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Dispatch Officer serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Your presence will help to create a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Requirements

  • MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
  • PLEASE COME DRESSED IN BUSINESS ATTIRE CLOTHING.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to radio and telephone communications in a professional manner, dispatching security-related personnel as needed according to site-specific protocols.
  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site policies.
  • Accurately document and report incidents, activities, and communications in dispatch logs and reports.
  • Coordinate emergency response activities and communicate critical information to appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Assist with access control and visitor management by monitoring entry and exit activities through surveillance systems and/or communication channels.
  • Support ongoing security-related operations by maintaining situational awareness of the location and updating team members as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain order within the location.
