As a Security Officer - Government Dispatch Specialist in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Dispatch Officer serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Your presence will help to create a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Requirements

MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
PLEASE COME DRESSED IN BUSINESS ATTIRE CLOTHING.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and respond to radio and telephone communications in a professional manner, dispatching security-related personnel as needed according to site-specific protocols.
Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site policies.
Accurately document and report incidents, activities, and communications in dispatch logs and reports.
Coordinate emergency response activities and communicate critical information to appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Assist with access control and visitor management by monitoring entry and exit activities through surveillance systems and/or communication channels.
Support ongoing security-related operations by maintaining situational awareness of the location and updating team members as necessary.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain order within the location.
