About The Position

As a Security Officer - Dispatch Operations in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a dynamic tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will play a key role in communication and coordination, responding to incidents and providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and coordinate all incoming and outgoing communications within the location to support security-related operations.
Dispatch security personnel to specific areas as needed based on incidents, alarms, or requests for assistance.
Maintain accurate logs and records of all communications, incidents, and activities occurring during the shift.
Assist in controlling access to the location by monitoring entry and exit points through electronic systems or visual confirmation.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
Collaborate with on-site security personnel to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by addressing inquiries and assisting with security-related concerns.
Support emergency response activities and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel as needed.
