As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location, you will monitor and coordinate security-related activities, maintaining communication with site personnel and responding to incidents as needed. Your role will involve routine patrols, operating alarm panels, and delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch personnel and relay critical information as needed within the location.
Maintain detailed records of incoming and outgoing calls, incidents, and activities in dispatch logs.
Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site personnel and emergency responders as required.
Assist with monitoring access points, controlling entry and exit of individuals, and verifying identification as needed.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members to help to deter unauthorized activities or suspicious behavior within the location.
Support emergency response activities by relaying information and coordinating resources according to established protocols.
Remain alert to potential security-related issues and report any concerns to management or law enforcement as appropriate.
