As a Security Officer Dispatch Driving Role in Carrollton, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Dispatcher at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, and support timely responses to security-related concerns. This is a driving post. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor radios, phones, alarms, and other communication systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and dispatch appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations by gathering details, relaying information to site contacts and/or emergency services, and helping to coordinate timely follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and dispatch records related to incidents, personnel activity, vehicle movement, and other security-related operations at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, while observing site conditions and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
