Job Description As a Security Officer Dispatch Driver in Newark, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Professional with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, and support timely responses to security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, phones, radios, and other communication systems to receive information, prioritize calls for service, and dispatch personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document incidents, service requests, and unusual activity with clear and timely reports, helping to support security-related operations and follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate communication between on-site personnel, building contacts, and/or first responders during incidents, critical situations, and routine operations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
