About The Position

As a Security Officer - Dispatch Driver in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will coordinate security-related calls for service, dispatch mobile and on-site officers, and monitor activity through systems and reporting tools to help support smooth operations. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Operate the dispatch center by monitoring phones, radios, alarms, and/or CCTV systems, prioritizing calls for service, and directing officers to incidents.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or public emergency services as required by post orders.
  • Document dispatch activity, incidents, and follow-up actions in daily logs and incident reports, and communicate status updates during shift transitions.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, checking doors, access points, and key areas as assigned.
