About The Position

As a Security Officer - Dispatch Driver in Benton Harbor, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Dispatch professional in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. Requirements

Supervisory experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications at the dispatch center to support security-related operations within the manufacturing and industrial location.
Coordinate with on-site personnel and Allied Universal teams to relay critical information and respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Document and log all incidents, calls, and dispatch activities accurately for record-keeping and follow-up.
Assist in the deployment of security-related personnel and resources as needed to address situations and/or emergencies.
Provide customer service by following site-specific policies, procedures, and emergency response protocols relevant to the manufacturing and industrial environment.
Support regular communication checks with mobile patrols and fixed posts to help to deter unauthorized activities around the location.
Respond promptly to alarms and notifications, initiating appropriate response actions as directed by site protocols.
