About The Position

As a Security Officer - Utilities Dispatch Driver in San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid commercial driver’s license is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and coordinate communications for the site, relaying information between security-related personnel and responding to calls for assistance as needed.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures to support the security-related operations of the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing timely updates to appropriate personnel.
  • Document and report all activities, incidents, and irregularities through established Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist in managing access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required for the location.
  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by addressing inquiries and offering guidance related to security-related matters.
  • Support emergency response activities by dispatching appropriate personnel and resources according to protocols.
  • Maintain accurate logs of communications, incidents, and dispatch activities throughout the shift.
