Requirements

Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR or first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed throughout the location.
Receive, document, and coordinate responses to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Maintain detailed logs and records of all incoming calls, incidents, and dispatch activities according to site-specific protocols.
Communicate and collaborate with on-site security-related staff, management, and external agencies to relay information and instructions.
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by responding to inquiries and assisting with security-related concerns.
Follow site-specific procedures and policies to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity within the location.
Support Allied Universal and client emergency response activities by coordinating and dispatching resources as required.
